Roberts served as an AQHA National Director and OQHA State Director for numerous years. He was elected 1993 OQHA President. He was involved bringing major Quarter Horse show to Oklahoma City and was a AQHA Golf Tournament sponsor. Roberts has owned numerous successful Quarter Horse such as World Champion 2 year old Western Pleasure Horse Triples, Superior Western Pleasure Horse Sparkling Investment, Zips White Chip and Canadian Suzie.
